- Not draining
Water left in the tub after the cycle. Usually a clogged filter or sump, a failed drain pump, a stuck check valve or a blocked drain path.
- Not cleaning
Food and film left on dishes. Often a weak wash pump, a clogged or cracked spray arm, a plugged filter or low water temperature.
- Not filling
The cycle starts but the tub stays dry. We check the inlet valve, float switch, supply valve under the sink and door switch.
- Leaking underneath
Water on the floor. A worn door gasket, a leaking pump seal, a loose hose clamp, a stuck float that lets the tub overfill or a cracked sump.
- Won't start
No lights, no response. Usually the door latch switch, a thermal fuse, a failed control board or touchpad, or power at the junction box.
- Door latch problems
The door will not close or lock, or the cycle stops when bumped. We replace latch assemblies, strike plates and door switches.
- Error codes
A code usually points to one subsystem: drain, fill, heating, a sensor or the control board. Write it down exactly as shown, plus the model number, and we arrive knowing where to start.
- Noise
Grinding, buzzing or rattling. Often debris in the pump, a worn wash motor bearing or a spray arm hitting the racks.
- Built-in and panel-ready units
We work on built-in and panel-ready dishwashers, remove the cabinet panel and brackets carefully, and put everything back the way it was.
- Commercial under-counter
High-temp and low-temp under-counter units in restaurants, cafes and break rooms, scheduled around your open hours where we can.
Before you schedule
A few quick checks clear some complaints without a visit, and most need no tools.
- Clean the filter. It twists out of the tub floor on most newer units. Rinse it and put it back.
- Run the garbage disposal. A full disposal backs water into the dishwasher.
- New disposal? If the dishwasher stopped draining right after a disposal was installed, the knockout plug in the disposal's dishwasher inlet was probably left in. Mention that when you schedule.
- Open the supply valve. It is under the sink and gets bumped closed.
- Close the door firmly. Many units will not start until the latch clicks.
- Check the breaker. A tripped breaker looks like a dead panel.
If water is reaching the floor, shut the supply valve and stop running it. When you request an appointment, include the brand, symptom and any display code.

Why is there water in the bottom of my dishwasher?
A little in the sump is normal. Water covering the tub floor means a clogged filter, a blocked drain path or a failed pump. Clean the filter, then schedule if it returns.
Is it safe to keep using a dishwasher that leaks?
No. A small leak soaks the subfloor and cabinet base, and that damage costs more than the repair. Shut the supply valve and schedule.
Do you repair panel-ready and built-in dishwashers?
