Terms of Service
Effective September 24, 2026. These terms cover scheduling, diagnosis, repairs, parts, payment and our workmanship warranty.
Who we are
Appliance Repair Near Me is the trade name of Appliance Repair Near Me LLC, a Virginia limited liability company based in Locust Grove. We repair household and commercial appliances. These terms apply to every service visit and to your use of this website. Requesting an appointment or accepting a visit means you agree to them.
Scheduling and arrival windows
When you request an appointment, you choose a Morning (8 AM to 12 PM) or Afternoon (12 PM to 4 PM) arrival window, or tell us you are flexible. Windows are targets, not guarantees. If we are running behind, we will let you know.
An appointment is not final until we confirm it. Tell us in advance about anything that affects access: gate codes, a locked utility room, dogs, or an appliance that is hard to reach. An adult should be home to let us in and approve the work.
Diagnosis and estimates
Every job starts with a diagnosis. We find the fault and explain what it needs and what it will cost before any repair begins. If a diagnostic or trip fee applies to your visit, we confirm it before we come out, not after. You approve the repair before we start it. If you decide not to proceed, only the fees confirmed at booking apply.
Parts
Some repairs need parts we do not carry with us. When a part has to be ordered, we tell you the expected timing and schedule a return visit once it arrives. Special-order parts may require a deposit, confirmed with you before we order.
Payment
Payment is due when the work is completed, unless a warranty company or plan administrator is the payer for your job. Accepted payment methods are confirmed when you book.
Warranty on our work
The warranty period for our labor and the parts we install is stated on your invoice. It covers the repair we performed and the parts we installed, not unrelated failures on the same appliance. Keep your invoice. It is your warranty record.
Warranty and service-contract jobs
If a manufacturer, extended-warranty company or service-contract administrator dispatched us, that administrator decides what is covered. Anything they do not cover is your responsibility only if you approve that work first, and we will tell you before doing anything outside the covered scope. See warranty appliance repair for how these dispatches work.
Cancellations and missed appointments
If you need to cancel or reschedule, let us know as early as you can so the time can go to another customer. Any cancellation or missed-appointment fee is confirmed at booking.
Safety
We may decline or stop work when a condition is unsafe, such as a suspected gas leak, an electrical hazard or active flooding, until it has been addressed by the right party. If you smell gas, leave the home and contact your gas utility or emergency services before contacting us.
Photos
We may photograph the appliance, its model and serial tag, and the repair for our records, warranty administrators and parts ordering. We do not publish photos or details that identify you or your home without your written permission.
Website use
This website is for general information. Nothing on it is a diagnosis of your specific appliance. We do not guarantee that an appointment is available on any given day or that the site is always accurate or online. Links to other sites are provided for convenience; we do not control them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle the information you submit, and our SMS terms cover text updates.
Limitation
To the extent permitted by Virginia law, our total liability for any claim related to a service visit is limited to the amount paid to us for that visit, whether by you or by a warranty administrator on your behalf. Nothing here takes away any right that Virginia law says cannot be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. The terms in effect on the date of your visit apply to that visit.
Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent through the schedule form; note in the message that it is a question rather than a booking, and we will get back to you.
When we speak by phone, calls may be recorded and handled by an AI assistant so we can schedule accurately. You can ask for a person at any time. If no one is available right then, you can leave a voicemail and a person will follow up.
